CASA Class 1 Medical Requirement

Get Your Medical Clearance Before You Arrive.

All students enrolling in Flight One’s Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) program must obtain a CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate before commencing training. This ensures you meet the medical standards required for professional pilots in Australia.

To make the process smoother, you can complete your medical assessment before arriving by booking an examination with a CASA-approved Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) in your country. Use CASA’s Aviation Medical Contacts to find an approved practitioner near you and avoid delays in starting your flight training.
